Thoughts on Citi Field
My friend Joe offered me a ticket earlier this week to see today’s Mets-Nationals game, and in addition to spending a few hours with someone I don’t get to see often enough, I was eager to see Citi Field. Everyone else has chimed in, but here’s my two cents:

Interesting article on whether we should let record stores die a natural death. I’m fully in the nostalgia camp on this one with fond record store memories, but I kind of like this point - blogs have become the new record store clerks.

Phoenix “Lisztomania” You know, it’s really great that people seem to be catching on to Phoenix lately, and I adore this song, so it’s a thrill to see it grow into something of a minor hit. Still, I am really confused by how aggressively this album is being marketed far in advance of its release date. Wouldn’t it be wise for them to push that up a bit? It’s still set for late May!
